ECO SISTEMAS was established in 1989 with a Mission: “To seek harmony, peace and sustainable growth through the understanding of self, culture, nature and energy exchanges”.

In other words, ECO SISTEMAS' long-term objective (Our Vision) is to pursue sustainable development and spiritual growth through an awareness of our own self and our relations to others and nature.

Since ECO SISTEMAS’ creation, a team of multi-disciplinary environmental and holistic students, volunteers and professionals has been pursuing this vision through research and development of permaculture and holistic healing practices, initially as consultants.

In 2011, ECO SISTEMAS started up, with friends and volunteers, an independent and not-for-profit Holistic EcoProject, for experimentation and exchange of  Permaculture and Holistic Well-being Practices, through the implementation of: 

1. a Holistic Center, in Salvador de Bahia, 

2. an EcoFarm, in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia,

3. a Network of similar Permaculture and Healing Centers, throughout the world.

ECO SISTEMAS WELCOMES you as a partner, a volunteer, a friend, to participate in the development of the Holistic Eco-Project, thus contributing to its most important objective: promoting self-knowledge, sustainable growth and peace through the understanding and enhancement of our relations to nature and energy.

Some may call us dreamers, but we took for ourselves as a challenge to make a difference, from John Lennon’s words:
